What have been the major benefits of employing apprentices?

The major benefits are numerous. We have our very own online marketing flavour at Online Ventures. Therefore, hiring apprentices allows us to impress upon people our own way of doing things whilst they are still young and impressionable enough to have not learned the wrong way previously.
The elephant in the room is that apprentices are cheap. Of course they are. However, Online Ventures employs apprentices to feather its own and their own future nests – we do not employ apprentices to do the filing or the things we do not like. We have what are now former apprentices who now hold down extremely important roles in the business as well as now being shareholders – in the space of 18 months of them joining us!
Online Ventures would not have grown so quickly without hard working, intelligent, dedicated, willing apprentices. That fact is simple. They have been a part of our rapid growth and will undoubtedly help us to grow and be nimble in the future as (I hope) we grow further.

Never in the duration of my time at Online Ventures have I been treated as an apprentice. I have had the great privilege to be trusted to work with the directors of the business to produce some of the leading products we offer as an agency. I have collaborated and worked with CEOs, Owners and Heads of Marketing to integrate our products and take their businesses to thought-leader status.
