Housing Trust Peaks & Plains are joining many other employers who are recruiting apprentices this year through our Future Talent service! They are looking for their Property Managers of the future to work at their location in Macclesfield, where they manage over 5000 homes across East Cheshire and the High Peak. Could you be part of the setup at Peaks & Plains, starting your level 3 Housing/Property Management apprenticeship in August/September?
The housing trust, who pride themselves on the quality of their homes and the service that they provide for their customers, are hiring for three roles. Asset Management Apprentice, Income and Lettings Apprentice and Customer Support Apprentice.
All three roles have similar duties but are based in different teams. Apprentices will provide an excellent response to customers and will handle queries as a first point of contact for their respective teams. You will learn to apply a range of ICT and interpersonal skills in order to provide an excellent service to customers including answering incoming calls, responding to emails, greeting customers face to face and assisting with some basic administrative and post room duties.
The Asset Management Apprentice role is based in the Asset team at the company. This role can lead to further careers in Housing, such as block management, tenancy management and repairs management.
As the Income and Lettings Apprentice, you will report to the Income and New Tenancy Manager. There are clear progression routes into rent collection, tenancy management and lettings role in the future – for the right candidate!
The Customer Support Apprentice could see progression routes into anti-social behaviour management, tenancy management and supporting customers with additional needs. They will be part of the Customer Support team.
All three roles have a starting salary of £10,608, 37-hour weeks and a good list of benefits, including:
