AI Maturity Self-Assessment

Step 1 of 5

Where does your organisation sit on its AI journey?

Ten questions across five dimensions. It takes about ten minutes, and you finish with a PDF to bring to Day 1.

You have an assessment in progress on this device.

What this assessment is for

It gives you a picture of where your organisation sits on its AI journey, across data, governance, workforce capability, leadership and current AI use.

There are no right or wrong answers. The purpose is honest reflection, which is what identifies where the real strengths and gaps are. Your tutor uses the pattern across the cohort at the start of Day 1 to calibrate the programme to the range of starting points in the room.

It is not graded and forms no part of your summative assessment. It is a tool for reflection and programme calibration.

How it works

  1. Answer ten questions, two for each of the five dimensions.
  2. If you do not know, choose "Don't know" rather than guessing. An honest "don't know" is more useful to you and your tutor than an aspirational guess.
  3. Answer two short reflection questions and note one question about AI you have not been able to answer.
  4. Read your results, download the PDF, and bring it to Day 1.

Your details (optional)

These appear on your PDF so you can identify your own copy. Nothing is sent anywhere. Your answers stay in this browser until you clear them.

Your reflections

Your facilitator will ask you to share these in pairs at the start of Day 1. They are not collected and not assessed.

Your AI maturity profile

Five dimensions, scored independently. A mixed picture is normal and it is the mismatches that are worth bringing to Day 1.
