Project Management Apprenticeship

The Associate Project Management Level 4

Learn all the aspects of Project Management, with learning aligned to the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) and the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ), without having to sit any exams.

To meet the eligibility requirements of this apprenticeship, learners will need to be working within a project management environment, or within a position where they can be given ownership of specific elements of a project.

Programme Duration

12-14 months

Costs and funding

Employers paying the apprenticeship levy can use their funds to pay for this programme.

Smaller organisations with an annual payroll bill of less than £3 million per year will need to contribute 5% towards the cost of the apprenticeship for employees aged 22 +. The government will cover 100% of the cost for employees aged 16-21. From 1^st Aug 2026 the government will fund 100% of the cost for employees aged 16-24.
