What have been the major benefits of employing apprentices?

Employer: Tricia Bullman
Lydia has now been with us for nearly three years, how time flies! In this time she has worked in various departments within our business, always carrying out tasks to a very high standard, her confidence and knowledge has grown and we believe this has been achieved most definitely because of the support and training provided by The Apprentice Academy.

Lydia has also been able to transfer her training to develop processes within our organisation, which has enhanced our procedures. I am pleased to say that Lydia is now a fully qualified Recruitment Executive providing quality candidates to many businesses throughout the NorthWest. We have been extremely impressed with our Apprentice.

What have you worked on for the company that people wouldn’t believe apprentices do?

Apprentice: Lydia Whitelegg
Initially started as a Compliance Administrator with responsibility of applying and following of references and checking candidates documentation. I have had the opportunity to work out of the office assisting a Recruitment Executive with interviewing candidates on client premises for a volume recruitment campaign. I’ve also been trained in how to process payroll for temporary workers entering hours worked onto the Payroll system.

Currently working as a Recruitment Executive, interviewing candidates, screening CV’s for suitability for vacancies, liaising with clients and successfully placing candidates within permanent opportunities.
