Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who would like to kick-start their career in admin, working in the heart of Manchester city centre. Our client’s role is to improve outcomes for people using the NHS and other public health and social care services.

About the role;

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Corporate Office team annual leave spreadsheet using Microsoft Update and maintain the company legal services costs on an excel spreadsheet
  • File documents and correspondence in line with the departmental file plan
  • Arrange meetings (e.g. team meetings, a complaint panel etc.) and send calendar invitations using Microsoft Office Outlook
  • Provide cover for other members of the team in their absence
  • Perform any other reasonable task within the range of skills and abilities of the role as required
  • Print meeting papers for the Board and Corporate office meetings
  • Receive and respond to emails relating to own workload using Microsoft Office Outlook
  • Good communication and customer service skills; meeting and greeting members of the public and responding appropriately to queries raised
  • Good team working skills; liaising with other team coordinators for assistance and/or advice
  • Handle and deal with confidential and/or sensitive information responsibly
  • Maintain Corporate Office team annual leave spreadsheet using Microsoft Office Excel

Skills and experience

You will be expected to have achieved 5 GCSES A*-C including English and Maths and/or Two A-levels Grades A – C or two BTECs Grade Merit (in any subject).

In addition to the above, you will need to be confident with a pro-active attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should have good attention to detail, be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise workload and deadlines.
