Opportunity

 This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that specialize in private company data. With information on 200 million companies, they store and provide information to their clients. The information provided is invaluable to a number of businesses. The data can be used in order to gain enriched insight into customers and prospects, refresh and improve CRMs, allow for the business to make better quality decisions and spot risk quickly. The information provided includes: what the companies do, how they are performing, financial data, legal entity details, M&A activity, news as well as corporate structures and ownership. This information can be provided through a number of difference interfaces, allowing access to be of ease.

The office has a fast paced culture, with lots of banter flying around. You will be well supported and will gain exposure of all elements of the business, whilst gaining training on all internal processes, procedures and products. You will begin at the bottom, learn all, and have the opportunity to progress onto a permanent role within sales or account management, with commission opportunities on offer, upon successful completion of your apprenticeship.

As the Business Apprentice, you will be ambitious and enthusiastic. Your duties will be varied and include:

 

About the role

  • Data cleansing
  • Research into possible prospects
  • Supporting account managers with their customers
  • As the role progresses, speaking to clients with regards to their needs
  • Switchboard: Answering and fielding calls
  • Scanning documents when required
  • Photocopying documents when required
  • Archiving documents
  • General Administration duties

 

Skills and experience

You will be expected to have achieved/predicted 5 GCSE grades A*-C including Maths and English and/or two A-levels Grades A – C or two BTECs Grade Merit or above (in any subjects).

In addition to the above, you will need to be confident with a pro-active attitude and excellent communication skills. You should have good attention to detail and be highly organised.

 This Apprenticeship will be delivered by The Apprentice Academy whose success rates are amongst the highest in Greater Manchester with over 90% completing their Apprenticeship. This compares to a national and regional average of 69%. More importantly, at the end of the programme, the vast majority of apprentices progress into permanent employment and higher education.
