Opportunity

Two new opportunities have arisen for Business Administrator Apprentices to join a modern and growing accountancy practice based in modern offices in Manchester City Centre.

This forward thinking employer is a big advocate for recruiting apprentices which included recruiting 2 apprentices last year. This year, as part of their commitment to developing their own future talent, they are recruiting 2 Business Administrators and 2 Accounting Apprentices to start in the summer.

Key duties will include:

  • Supporting with ‘on boarding’ new clients including setting up accounts, sending welcome packs and gifts, carrying out welcome calls and setting up meetings
  • Dealing with people arriving at reception
  • Responsible for customer service duties including setting up the meeting room, setting up the light box, arranging drinks and snacks etc
  • Welcoming clients when they arrive for meetings at the offices
  • Handling inbound calls to the office
  • Supporting with basic accounting duties
  • Chasing existing clients for information
  • Completing the confirmation statements for the clients on Companies House
  • Carrying out administration in relation to HMRC
  • Supporting on administration in regards to ‘Incorporation’ and ‘Dissolving’ companies
  • Dealing with scanning, post and general administration duties to help around the office

Key skills required

  • Numeracy and literacy skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player in a busy and fast moving environment
